FDS is a pro-active member of the fashion community and engages students in various fashion related activites. For almost 20 years, Fashion Design Studio has had a Graduate Show at Australian Fashion Week in Sydney. The annual ‘The Innovators” show on the official schedule presents fashion collections from a handful of FDS Fashion Design graduates who represent the future of creative Australian fashion. Designers who have commenced their career through the innovators show include Dion Lee and Christopher Esber, as well as newcomers Emma Mullholland and Elissa McGowan.
